So if you find yourself tired and sore after minimal swinging with a standard shaft, should notice big difference the counterbalances shape shaft system. The shaft has been used once by the original owner for roughly two hours and is in minty condition. I got this shaft in a trade for some other gear and never chance to try it because recently bought Manicure.

I switched over to one of Steves straight shafts with a counterweight and the problem went away in short order. Some people find that using an empty counterweight works perfect to counterbalance the 6 coil, and a bag or two of shot helps balance out standard 11 coil. Thees shape is already helpful in that area vs a straight shaft, but it the counterweight really makes things effortless. This is THE most important thing you can do to make the machine easier swing.

It really does make a noticeable difference on how easy it is to swing the machine, particularly if using larger 15 or 18 coils. Custom lengths available upon request. Using a nose heavy machine increases the torque on your elbow when you reach end of swing and try reverse directions. My preferred coil was the 15 and I would swing it 6-8 hours a day sometimes. As an FYI, the counterweight is filled with multiple lead shot bags which you can take out and adjust overall weight to your liking.
